# Automatic DigiCert CertCentral domain validation

Hey team,

Infisical’s DigiCert integration requests DNS TXT validation and polls DigiCert, but it doesn’t create the required TXT records using Infisical’s existing DNS integrations. If a domain isn’t already validated, the order remains pending; Infisical eventually marks the request as failed, while the order may remain pending in CertCentral.

Could Infisical automate DigiCert DCV in the same way it handles ACME DNS validation—create the TXT record, wait for validation, and clean it up afterward? This would avoid manually revalidating CertCentral domains as DigiCert’s validation periods shorten, especially for certificate types that aren’t available through ACME.

Note below: DigiCert also will start bringing the valid time period for Domain validation down, which is why this has started to become a pain point for teams with many domains.

Hey, thanks for posting this. You’re right, the CertCentral integration doesn’t create the TXT records today. A few others have asked for this too, so we’re building it, using the same DNS connections as ACME. We’ll update this thread once there’s progress.
